As part of our service, we remove the oil sump and thoroughly clean your engine, including the oil pickup strainer to restore proper oil flow.
At GJ Motors, we go the extra mile for your engine's longevity. Unlike other garages, we insist on leaving these vehicles overnight to allow the sump sealant to cure fully. Only once the seal is perfect do we fill the system with PSA-approved engine oil and bring the engine to operating temperature. Wet belt change – Greg is specialist and a top lad.
We first spoke over the phone about an issue I was having with my engine oil pressure light coming on, then going off after a while. Greg explained that a common problem with this engine (5008 - 1.2 PureTech) is the wet belt breaking down and blocking the oil strainer, which affects oil pressure. He took the time to clearly explain how it all works and why that was likely the cause.
He kept me informed throughout and completed the job within the timeframe he promised. He uses genuine parts and sent photos and videos of the work being carried out, showing exactly what had been replaced, just like the big service centres do.
He really knows his stuff when it comes to wet belts. If you need yours changed, Greg’s your man. Highly recommended.
